The Multi Tech 2000 air cleaner is ideal for rooms up to 400 square feet, using six proven air-cleaning technologies including a washable pre-filter, a "wipeable" electrostatically charged plasma dust collector plate, an activated carbon filter, a true HEPA filter, a germicidal UV lamp, and an ionizer.


Summary: As air is drawn through the Multi Tech 2000 ionic air cleaner by its quiet, yet powerful (180 CFM) fan, it passes through a washable pre-filter where larger particles of "nasties" are removed, protecting the unit's "downstream" filers from damage. The air then travels through a washable, electrostatically charged dust collector grid, trapping smaller particles and pollutants. As the air continues, it is pulled through an activated carbon filter, known to be highly effective in removing chemicals, gases, odors and cigarette smoke. Continuing, the air passes through a high efficiency HEPA filter, known as one of the most effective means of capturing dust, dust mites, dead skin, pollen, allergens, mold, fungi, bacteria and other serious pollutants. The air is then drawn through the unit's powerful germicidal UV lamp, destroying micro-organisms including additional germs, viruses, fungi (including mold) and bacteria in the process. Finally, the air exits the unit accompanied by trillions of negative ions generated by its safe and effective ionizer.
