As air drawn into the Multi Tech S1000-Ultra, it first encounters a pre-filter where larger pollutants are removed before entering the more sensitive "downstream" HEPA filter. As the air is drawn through the HEPA filter, up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns in size - almost 300 times smaller than the width of a human hair - are removed. The air then exits the Multi Tech S1000-HEPA accompanied by trillions of ions generated by its negative ion generator. Noise Level: The noise level in the S1000 is very low considering it has such a powerful fan.
