The Sun Twin Gen3 Zone Heater At A Glance The Sun Twin Gen3 was designed to tackle "Problem Child" rooms up to 1000 square feet. Stylish and powerful, this unit uses the same patented, advanced heat transfer technology found in other EdenPURE zone heaters including six powerful industrial quality quartz infrared heat lamps, three (3) high quality copper heat exchangers, a powerful fan, and a sensitive, user controlled thermostat.
	Summary: The Sun Twin Gen3 is possibly one of the most energy efficient portable zone heaters on the market. The patented, advanced technology used by the Sun Twin Gen3 is powerful yet simple. First, as the sensitive user controlled thermostat (with five settings ranging from 55 - 90 degrees) calls for heat, the six (6) industrial grade quartz lamps are activated. Once activated, the quartz lamps transfer their infrared heat to three high quality copper heat exchangers. Once the heat exchangers reach a set point, the unit's powerful fan pulls room air into the unit, passes it over the heat exchangers, and sends it back out to warm your room. Since there are no flames involved, there is no loss of moisture and no carbon monoxide. Remarkably, the exterior of the EdenPURE units is so cool to the touch, children and pets can play around it without fear of being burned. The Sun Twin Gen3 also has casters which allow the user to move it from room to room, push button controls, infrared remote, electronic thermostat, washable filter, and a golden oak veneer cabinet with clear lacquer finish and solid oak trim. Simple, safe, beautiful, powerful, and effective!
Noise Level: The Sun Twin Gen3 is very quiet and shouldn't disturb anyone.
Maintenance: The washable filter should be reviewed periodically and if dirty, washed in soapy warm water. Then rinse, dry, and re-install.

Why We Like This Unit: After testing the EdenPURE Model 1000, we just had to put the Sun Twin Gen3 through its paces. Once again, we were extremely impressed right from the beginning. After placing it in our "Problem Child" room, it took less than 2 hours to bring the entire room temperature to a very comfortable setting. In fact, we had to turn the heat setting down because adjoining rooms were getting too warm. Within 8 hours, we no longer had to have the whole house thermostat set higher than normal just to blow air into our test room. That in itself resulted in overall energy savings and expenses, something we're all very much aware of now-a-days. One suggestion, in the event you wish to move it around, make certain it has cooled down or the quartz lamps may lose part of their life expectancy.
